Weren't the Olympics sensational? Having the Games in our time zone made it so easy to join in the excitement. There were some wonderful personal achievements and some very heart-warming stories. That's what makes the Olympics such a great experience.
And to see athletes from all nations coming together in peace and harmony despite what might be going on in their home lands gives great hope for the future.
Our favourite moments were watching Matt Mitcham's wonderful 10 m dive where he achieved a 112.1 score out of a possible 114 to claim the Gold Medal - which is an Olympic record. Incredible.
And experiencing the frustration and then ultimate triumph of Steve Hooker in the pole vault final that was a joy to watch. What a high achiever!
Special accolades go to cyclist Anna Meares for her guts and determination and to the German weightlifter Matthias Steiner for his raw emotion.
Wonder where we'll all be in four years' time!

Can you tell us about Enviro Action?
"Enviro Action was set up to help small to medium-sized businesses implement environmental and other management systems, and to provide a wide range of information, coaching and training products to help businesses experience sustainable growth."
From your research, what will be the consequences to businesses if environmental ignorance continues?
"Sir Nicholas Stern reported that the economic effects of global warming will be comparable to the combined effects of both World War One and the Great Depression. I naturally have concerns about the changes that I see happening to the world environment during my life. What world are we leaving to our younger generations?"
How should an EMS (Environmental Management System) be done?
"Keeping it simple is the key to making it work well.
- Start with an environmental audit to identify all the potential risks (these will be different for every business and in each of an individual business's locations).
- Find out what legislation, regulations and licence conditions your business needs to comply with, and list the risks involved in compliance.
- Analyse every risk separately using a risk matrix.
- Develop an environmental management plan that identifies the resources needed to prevent harmful or potentially harmful effects, and a timeline for their implementation.
- Work through the management plan engaging the resources required and building a system with feedback to ensure that the plan works and goes on working.
- Create plans within the company for dealing with emergencies.
- Understand the importance of only keeping the latest version of documents to avoid confusion.
There are a number of reasons why people may be reluctant to go down this path, some are based on myths while others relate to very real business impacts.
The most common myth is that an EMS is necessarily huge, and that it adds an enormous overhead to the business. This myth is a hangover from poor consulting practices in early quality systems in which some consultants imposed overly complex systems and then sold maintenance contracts for them.
My views are of the urgent need to embrace environmental management throughout the entire community - not just industry. I have a deep love and awe of the natural worls and a concern for the decisions my grandchildren and their friends will have to make."
